GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY!

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

Excuse me, channeling Gary Trudeu there for a minute.

I’m better now.

You remember former democrat Congressman William “Cold Cash” Jefferson, who was voted out of office while fighting the charges that he took $100,000 in cash bribes.

The Justice Department’s case against him included the person who gave him the $100,000 in cash testifing that it was for a bribe and then finding $90,000 hidden in frozen food boxes in Jefferson’s home freezer.

Of course William “Cold Cash” Jefferson was defended as “innocent” by the democrat s0-called “leadership” including Nancy Pelosi.

Well, Congression Jefferson has had his day in court and “federal jury convicted a former U.S. congressman Wednesday of taking bribes on 11 of 16 counts in a case in which agents found $90,000 in his freezer.”

Here is some more data on the results of the democrat former congressman’s trial by a jury of his peers:

Former Rep. William Jefferson, a Democrat who had represented parts of New Orleans, was accused of accepting more than $400,000 in bribes and seeking millions more in exchange for brokering business deals in Africa.

It took jurors five days to reach a decision after an eight-week trial.

Star Trek Nerd Punditry

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

I never was much of a Star Trek:Voyager fan.  Just didn’t like it.  Janeway was cool, because she was seriously hardcore, but the rest of cast/crew just never passed passed cardboard cutout stage.

I finally saw the final episode of ST:Voyager, it was in the “Best of Time Travel” set.   If that was the best they could do, then the entire series was set on Lame.  Except for Janeway, who was still hardcore.

The third season of Enterprise had better episodes, including several multiple episode arcs, that were much, much better than that epic fail of a series final episode the Voyager cast and crew foisted on their much abused fans.

Obama continues to break Transparency Promise

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

Our Dear Leader promised to increase goverment transparency under his administration.  That was clearly another lie told to dupe the sheepeople into voting for him.

The latest example is the BHO regime denying access to the actual numbers for it’s faux-Green “Cash for Clunkers” program.

What is our Dear Leader and his socalist cronies hiding from the American People?  Shouldn’t he be proud of what he is trying to do to America and shout his intentions from the proverable rooftops instead of trying to ram his policies through Congress quickly and often under the cover of darkness?

Palin Bullies: Exposed And Whining

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

Here is the video that the left doesn’t want you to see.

I’m not kidding. They are attacking Bob Parks and working hard to pull this video off YouTube whenever it goes up.

The left is flat out afraid of the truth and doesn’t want the American People to be exposed to the truth.

Bad move by Apple

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

Apple barred the new Google Talk App from the iTunes App Store.

The initial claim was that the app duplicated core services of the iPhone.

To get around Apple’s monopolitics ban, point your iPhone browwer to www.google.com/talk.

There has been other fallout from Apple’s ban, besides pissed off customers, the FCC is asking questions and Google CEO Eric Schmidt resigned from Apple’s Board of Directors.

Then there is also the added buzz about Google Talk this has generated. Perhaps it would have been better for Apple just to have allowed the app in the iTunes app store.
