iPad is bringing new life to the e-book debates

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

With Apple’s announcement of the iPad and the Apple iBook store, people have been noticing the ongoing debate about e-books, e-readers and the ugly concept of DRM, which assumes that paying customers are thieves.

Joining the fray, is is Stephen Green, also known as the Vodkapundit.

Of course, I had join in.

Buy American

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

I’m going to plug an American product, and no, it’s not vehicles by the Ford Motor company, the only one of the “Big Three” automakers who didn’t take taxpayer money, and the only one to show a profit.

What I’m plugging is what is sitting right in front of me currently, Hawaiian grown coffee from Kona Joe. Joe has an interesting approach to growing coffee, he has taken a few tips from wine growers.

I typically buy either the Dark Roast or the Medium Roast. Whole bean of course. If you aren’t grinding your coffee beans right before you brew, you really should try it.

So, remember to “Buy American” when shopping for really good coffee!
