History: Kriger was born to a clan of Vargr within Vargr space. His clan operated a family oriented stellar space salvage organization. The corsairs were based around a water world for several years until the group was chased out of the system. They kept moving through the sector until they crossed into Imperial space. There the clan developed a less than wholesome operation.

Eventually, the group of corsairs were busted and the clan ended up going several different ways. Kriger's family traveled rimward until they ended up in the Diaspora sector. Kriger's 18th birthday was rapidly approaching. Fed up with all the traveling, much of the time as a refugee, Kriger wanted something more.

Working through the Vargr Consulate on Jesicar/Libert, he was allowed to join the Imperial Navy as a Ship's Mate. He received pilot, navigation and astrogation training from the Navy. However, his racial differences kept him from advancing and the lack of a pack to socialize with and constant run-in's with his superiors caused him to receive a discharge. For political purposes it was listed as honorable, but he was not permitted to re-up.

He joined up with a free-trader, Torvill Baskerville, an old Solomani who took him on several speculative and exploratory trading missions liked his pilot abilities and managed to contract him into an extra term.

Looks like a Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute with a slightly longer snout
