Haldane's Harriers uniforms and rank insignia.

Ranks:

• Mechwarrior Apprentice: One White Stripe
• Trooper: No insignia
• Corporal: 2 stripes Often a weapons specialist or a vehicle driver. No command associated with this rank.
• Sergeant: Three stripes. Squad leaders, vehicle commanders, or assistant lance leaders.
• Warrant Officer: Disk with hawk. On fatigues, replace the disk with an embroidered epaulette patch - grey outlined in blue (on the grey fatigues). Mostly a Technical rank.
• Chief Warrant Officer: Two disks with hawks. Again a technical rank. Denotes a very senior technican (or AeroEngineer, or Vehicle (include VTOL) Mechanic). Not so much a command rank, but a designation of a higher skill level.
• 2nd Lieutenant: Grey epaulette outlined in blue Commander of a lance or platoon. Junior officer in the company.
• 1st Lieutenant: Grey epaulette outlined in blue with one stripe across the base. Commander of a lance or platoon. XO of a company.
• Captain: Grey epaulette outlined in blue with two stripes across the base. Commander of a company. Senior Captain is Battalion XO.
• Major: Grey epaulette outlined in blue with three stripes across the base. Commander of a Battalion. Senior Major is Regimental XO.
• Lt. Colonel: Grey Epaulette outlined in blue with three stripes across the base and a diamond pip.

Standard uniform is grey with blue trim, cap, and black boots. Officers are issued an optional waist length jacket with insignia replacated. A name tag is attached above the left breast pocket. Branch is signifed by a collar patch (blue on grey, pin for non-fatigue uniforms).
