Mitt Romney’s predictions about an Obama second term were spot on
Of course, the Obama cultists attacked him and repeatedly used personal slurs, made religious bigoted comments, and manufactured one fake crisis after another in their hate fueled attacks on a good and decent man who dared point out that their own deity was just a man, and a man unqualified and uniquely unsuited for the office of President of the United states.
What will it take for the MSM to call it a good month for Gov. Romney?
First, let us review this chart of the Gallup tracking poll. HT to the PJ Tatler
Now the left leaning MSM/DNC has been calling the past month a “bad month” for Gov. Romney. I don’t think the word “bad” means what they think it means.
Keep in mind that this is the Gallup poll, not the historically more accurate Rasmussen poll. It is also a poll of registered voters, not likely voters. Add to that the historic trend of Gallup and most other polls over ratting Obama by several points.
Given all that, plus what is charitably called a “lackluster” recovery that is in danger of slipping back into a recession, it looks like polls, like this Gallup poll, are being carefully crafted to try and make the MSM/DNC label of a “bad month” for Gov. Romney appear to be true. Even with them cooking the books, this polls shows a challenger running dead even with an incumbent President with the election less than two months away.
Keep in mind, most polls had Jimmy Carter, the worst President of the latter half of the 2oth Century, four points ahead of Ronald Reagan at this point in the 1980 election.
The Political Landscape
The Nevada caucuses are over for both parties, and the Republican primary has been run in South Carolina.
There is much angst in the hearts and minds of the establishment members of both parties.
Let us first take a look at the big hot mess the Republican side is.
Donald Trump is winning, and winning big. He is ahead in the delegate count. Not just in this race either. He is head of where Romney and McCain were at this point in the last two election cycles.
The Republican “leadership” is clutching their collective pearls and asking how in the name of a merciful God is this possible.
My advice to them is to take a long, hard look in the mirror. The Republican “leadership”, especially in Congress has been destroying their brand value for decades. They have worked long and hard to completely alienate their conservative base.
Speaking of that conservative base, in a rare instance of agreement with the party leadership, they are as confused over this whole Donald Trump thing as the leadership is. Not for the same reasons though. The “establishment” leaders of the GOP put a lot of money behind former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. In past Presidential elections, this would have been enough to give Jeb a pretty good shot at winning the primary battle. Not this time though, remember that whole alienating their voter base thing? So the people who think they run the GOP have had their candidate shot down in flames.
The conservative base is scratching the collective heads because they don’t consider Trump to be an actual Republican. Take a look at his record. He has self-identified as a democrat in the past, and has supported a lot of democrats. As I have pointed out before there are some strong similarities between some his policies and those of the admitted socialist Bernie Sanders. Their policies on legal and illegal immigration for example. There is another reason to believe that Trump is not a Republican. He knows how to handle a hostile press.
So why is Trump so far ahead? Simple. He is perceived as a “Washington outsider.” The voters are sick and tired of “business as usual” inside the Beltway. They don’t want to throw away a vote on the same old, same old once again. Look who is second place, Texas Senator Ted Cruz. He is not just hated by the congressional Republican leadership, they actually fear the concept of him in the Oval Office. He doesn’t “play ball” and cozy up to the democrats. He actually tries to keep his promises to the people who elected him, which makes him a renegade maverick in Washington, regardless of the letter after his name.
I’m not a Trump fan, but his run for the Presidency is fascinating for a political junkie. Not only is he appealing to pissed off GOP voters, he has actual cross party support. Polling has consistently shown that 20% of his supporters are Blue Collar democrats. What used to loyal democrats who have been thrown under the bus by their party over the past seven years. He is also doing better than the typical GOP candidate in traditionally democrat demographics. Namely hispanics, blacks and women.
To see why Trump is doing well with those traditional democrat groups, just look at how the democrats have been treating their base since they started the Occupy the White House Golf Tour in January 2009.
There has been mild, sporadic and slow economic growth since the recession ended in July 2009, despite our Dear Leader’s best efforts to kill it. Most people have benefited from this. Except for blacks. They have gotten the shaft, despite all the promises made back in 2008. Just take a look at the very detailed information on employment, and unemployment, at the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics. You can find breakdowns by race, gender, and age. As Senator Sanders has pointed out in his stump speeches, unemployment among black Americans is significantly higher than those of white Americans or any other group of American. This has not gone unnoticed by black single parent mothers, who are now working three jobs to send their kids to private school instead of two. Why they are sending their kids to private schools instead of public schools is left as an exercise to the reader in yet another way the democrats have been alienating their base.
Americans of Hispanic descent who are registered to vote (i.e. legal immigrants, and remember that Mexico is the number one source of legal immigrants to America), are hearing Trump’s call to secure our border. They have observed our Dear Leader’s policy of not enforcing our immigration laws, and the results of that policy. Things they left Mexico (which is in a violent narco civil war) to get away from, are showing up here in America. Drug Cartels, kidnapping, and armed gangs working for the cartels. In more and more cases, these violent criminal organizations are found using semi-automatic weapons supplied to them by our Dear Leader’s “Fast and Furious” program. They don’t like it, and are turning to Trump and Sanders, both of whom want to enforce the law in regards to our southern border.
Which leads us to the question being raised by the establishment democrat leadership wondering what happened to Hillary Rodham Clinton’s comfortable stroll to primary victory they were predicting. No surprised here, as I’ve pointed out, they have been working hard to alienate their base as well. Plus the fact that HRC is extremely unlikable, and massively corrupt. So democrat voters are also looking for an outsider. Thus the support for the socialist from Vermont from everyone who doesn’t like or trust Hillary Rodham Clinton. Given her high negatives, and history of massive corruption, is a significant number of democrats. This does not speak well of Hillary. She was correct when she said that Sander wasn’t a democrat until he decided to run for President. He has always run openly as a socialist. While in the Senate, he caucused with the democrats, but was not officially a member of their party.
However, you aren’t seeing the runaway victories that Trump has been seeing in the Republican primaries. This is because of another thing the doddering old socialist has gotten right. The system is rigged. The DNC has been blatantly in the tank for Hillary Rodham Clinton in this cycle. HRC is well ahead in the delegate count because the party made sure she had the super delegates wrapped up long before those pesky citizens could possibly muck up their coronation of Queen Hillary the First.

Former adult film actress Jenna Jameson nails the difference between the first tweets made on September 11 by Gov. Mitt Romney and our Dear Leader, Barack Hussein Obama. They clearly show that one is a true leader with concern for America and has a real connection to the American people. The other is a sleazy political hack from Chicago.
The democrats’ War on Women is still in full frontal assault mode. As I have pointed out before, if you want to know what the left is up to, just review what they are accusing their opponents of.
In a Civil Rights victory, voter-ID is the law of the land in Wisconsin for the November elections.
Quote of the Day
“Never been a Romney fan. I actively dislike John McCain. Good grief, we’d be in so much better shape if either of them had been elected…”
Round Up Post
First, let’s take a look at our Dear Leader’s former city of residence, Chicago. This is where he made his mark as a “community organizer”, found religion at Rev. Wright’s weekly sermons laced with hate speech, became a state senator, met and married his beard, and where the two daughters were born. In that tribute to over fifty years of straight democrat reign, more than 40 people were shot last weekend. That included four dead. One of which was an eleven year old girl at sleep over. In case you didn’t know this fact already, Chicago has some of the strictest “gun control” laws in the country. This illustrates why they are more accurately called “victim disarmament” laws.
We have learned that congressional subpoenas cause IRS hard drives to crash. The IRS’ refusal to supply information under subpoena has gotten so blatant, that even Lanny Davis, former Clinton spokes weasel, says it is time for special prosecutor. The count of IRS hard drives that crashed due to subpoena as seven. It just almost tripled.
It should not be a surprise to anyone paying attention, but the Obama White House knew of the upcoming flood of illegal aliens crossing the boarder well in advance. They didn’t do anything to avoid it. Remember their motto, “Never let a crisis go to waste.”
Another Clinton spokes weasel, David Axelrod, made tweet that pointed out the Mitt Romney as right, and Barry was, once again, completely and utterly wrong.
Is this change you were hoping for?

While there still are deranged cultists out there who blindly support any action by our Dear Leader, the shine is off the Rose for a growing number of Americans who are getting tired of having their collective noses rubbed in Barry’s incompetence.
This can been seen in a recent Quinnipiac University survey that listed Barack Hussein Obama as the worst President since WWII. While this is good news for Jimmy Carter, it is not good news for America, or its citizens. Just to dig the knife of reality a little deeper into the moonbats, Ronald Reagan as listed as the best president since WWII. The poll also showed that move voters feel that GOP nominee Mitt Romney would have been a better choice in 2012. A fact that was clear to anyone paying attention during the 2012 election cycle.
Pollster John Zogby sums it up well, ““In short, we see a president in full salvage mode. He is not only racing for his legacy but for his relevancy.”
At least one newspaper has retracted their 2008 endorsement of our Dear Leader. Hat tip to Mr. Reynolds, who nails it shut in his commentary, “The wave of enthusiasm for an inexperienced ideologue with backing from the corrupt Chicago machine was a species of mass hysteria. It’s nice to see it wearing off, and reality being confronted.”
Forbes Magazine explains Obama’s Secret Neo-Con Agenda.
Our Dear Leader’s policies have lead to what the Washington Examiner correctly calls a “Dangerous precedent.”
Gallup reported this week that Americans now have more confidence in the police and the military than they do in the three branches of the U.S. government — which is not exactly a healthy place to be in a constitutional republic.
The Washington Post reports that the Male-female pay gap remains entrenched at White House.
Meanwhile, in the southern border states, Obama’s ‘Brown Shirts’ are actively silencing medical personnel who are dealing with the flood of illegal aliens on the Texas-Mexico border. Medical personnel are under threat of arrest if they talk, but some are talking anyway.
Just how is that hopey-changey thing workin’ for ya?
Moonbats on Parade

I’ve observed leftists getting all wee-weed up over somebody on Fox News Business saying “don’t be poor.”
When did the concept of bettering yourself and improving your lot in life become an idea that sensible people would find offensive?
It is certainly better advice that the moon-bat’s deity, Barack Hussein Obama has been giving to a big chunk of his voter base, i.e. “be poor.”
Just look at the numbers. Minority unemployment is at record highs. Unemployment levels for minority teens are at levels that would be a national crisis if a Republican was in the White House. Non participation in the work force is at record high levels (currently 91 million, up from 79 million in 2008) that haven’t been seen in 40 years (yup, the economy in our so called “recovery” is at Jimmy Carter Recession levels), the number of people on food stamps have doubled since our Dear Leader took office, the average income is down, not getting laid off is the new raise, food and fuel prices have risen dramatically, and we are still stuck in the unprecedented worst economic recovery since the Great Depression. As Mr. Reynolds says, “They told me that if I voted for Mitt Romney, the rich would get richer and the poor would get poorer, and they were right!” Let’s not forget the National debt, which is at $17.5 Trillion and rising.
Historically, booming recoveries after a recession have been a bi-partisan event. Reagan, Clinton, and G.W. Bush benefited from booming recoveries that historically follow a recession. How did Barry get stuck with a non-recovery? Simple, he worked very hard to strangle that recovery in its crib. Barry is much more interested in:
1: His golf game
2: His agenda of wealth distribution
than he is in doing anything that would actually help the US economy and the average US citizen. Sorry folks, if you are in, or want to be in, or used to be in, the middle class, you just aren’t in his core demographics.
Seriously, it takes a serious partisan avoidance of reality to take that much offense at someone saying to better your lot in life through self improvement.
Quote of the Day
Obama said his opponent was “stuck in a Cold War mind warp.” Clinton, then Secretary of State, offered her two cents, saying, “In many of the areas where we are working to solve problems, Russia has been an ally.”
Biden added that “This is not 1956.”
