On the other end of the political spectrum from the (thankfully former) residents
of the White House is
Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, USMC, ret. He was one of the few Senate hopefuls to lose to a Democrat in the 1994 elections. Note that it was a three way election, with two Republicans splitting the vote.
A Democrat who was mired in multiple scandels
was Al Gore (who
was deeply involved in CoffeeGate). His wife Tipper, is the
head of the PMRC. Keeping true to form, Algore broke the first promise he made after loosing the election. Instead of, as promised, going back to Tennesse, he bought a house in Washington, D.C. His real hometown...
If you are a True Liberal, you voted for Ralph Nader instead of Algore anyway...
Space Activism Home Page It really is The Final Frontier. FYI, former
Speaker of the HouseNewt Gingrich was Chairman of the Congressional Space Caucus and was a supporter of full funding for space exploration and research.
